Amira Abouzahra

Abouzahra Amira, known from the worldwide unique classical music talent show The Virtuosi, was born in Germany to an Egyptian father and a Hungarian mother, the first daughter of a renowned artistic dynasty.

She has been performing regularly in public since the age of five, with her first performances including an annual concert in Hemsbach called Old Music, the Weinheim

In 2017, he decided to compete again in the Virtuosi, from which he emerged as the winner in his age group. 

In the meantime, his career has taken off at such a pace that it would be difficult to list all his international prizes, competitions and concerts, but he is also present on the music scene with his musical brother from New York to Europe, including Hungary's most important orchestras, and the Middle East. Without wishing to be exhaustive, here are some of the milestones in his life:

First prize winner of numerous international competitions, including the Arthur Grumiaux International Competition for Young Violinists and the Ilona Fehér International Violin Competition (Budapest), Amira has performed solo recitals and with orchestra at Lincoln Center (New York), the Berlin Philharmonic, Covent Garden (London), the Palace of Arts in Budapest and the Cairo Opera House.  He has performed with orchestras such as Concerto Budapest, the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica, the Mexican State Symphony Orchestra and the Hungarian State Philharmonic Orchestra.

Amira is currently studying in the Special Talents Class at the Vienna Academy of Music with Dora Schwarzberg and plays a Tononi violin (1760).
